thatll take a while...
i hope they make it good!
(why do they always have the ps2 exclusivity first? how much do they make off of that?)

Yeah exactly, itll take a long time but maybe they'll release some info this year so it might only be a month or so before they release anything or maybe until the middle of next year so we'll have to wait patiently
From what some of us heard about that so called 'Hidden Message' on the VCN helicopter atop the VCN building in VC that said some kind of code on the side that might indicate a date, that could be the day they release the info

maybe theres even stuff inside the gamedata files... who knows?
You mean D193SA? yeah, could be a date. December, the 19th, 2003, San Andreas. Pitty for Europe.

I doubt it'd be released then...
Yeah me to. It would probally be 2004, somewhere
i can't wait for it
i want to have it now
Howmany GTA versions will be needed to make it boring?

Never will it be boring I can tell you that.

In it's current state, another one will kick ass, but I think that after that, it'll be best for rockstar to move on. Somehow it would need to be as revolutionary as GTA3 was, I don't know how, but hopefully they'll find a way.

they always do
i think its due time anyway.
think about gta1 and 2 (i count london as 1)
then came gta3.
so now, we have gta3 and vc.
the next two should be similar to each other but completely new from the past ones, if it follows the pattern

I'm not sure, I think the next GTA will be of a similar style to VC and LC, and I think it should be, but after that, it's time for a change, time for a revolution.

I hope so too Brokenfish, but doubt it.
Things are betting boring after a while. There must be another way to jack cars, or not to jack cars, that you have two choises for a Taxi, Hi-jack it, or get in it, to drive to another place. There must be some kind of menu to choose a spot where you want to be driven. Or you can pick a regular car and put a gun on the drivers head, and tell him where to go:D

Yes I did. Its the first ever thread and as you say,
over a year old. Since GTA:SA is about to be released
I thought it would be funny to examine the 'mindset'
before we knew anything.
