i think he means the points for posting... like an awards system that encourages people to flood and spam... :rolleyes:
A ranking system is being worked on. (I know this was said at the GG forums too, but it's actually being worked on this time and there's a good chance it will be done.)

Can I get cookies instead of points... I think it would be more effective if someone does something wrong and you punish them with a cookie.

Cookies are good, well, I guess that depends on the cookie, but even if it's a bad cookie, it wouldn't make a lot of difference since people would just not eat them.

I think this was said at the Game Gossip forums as well (same author as this one :rolleyes: ) Anyway i hope it gets done soon
The main problem of setting up rankings is keeping it confined inside this forum. For exmaple, you don't want to go to the PlanetsideGaming forums and be ranked Scam Artist and doing the mission Sir Yes Sir! for Cortez, or be at the CallOfDutyGaming forums and be ranked Associate and own the property Sunshine Autos, now do you?
(Yes you did just get a small preview of the rankings soon to come ;))

well, im not sure of vbulletin, as i said before, but i think phpbb is much more customizeable and its easier (for me) to modify.
i think the ranks would be more easily confined in that, but i think vb might work in a similar way. its still php, so why dont they just set the ranks to only show up if the catid = grand theft auto?
I don't know exactly. Shawn just said that it can be done and he will be working on it.
