Please Please Help Me

I just got IMG tool 2.0, for about the third time, and so far I havent had anything good come out of it.

ALL i want to do is install some new gun mods, (they are .txd and .dff) and everyone I try to install it comes up with an error that says that my mod file is too big to replace the original.

PLEASE GOD someone help me.

I have Vice City, by the way.

If someone can send a link to a tutorial that actually solves this problem, that would be awesome.

i have that problem to i trying 2 install cars and some homies mds and more i cant idk y some bout add n stuff

i'll make a guess, try to delete the original txd from the img file, and then add it.
