"Extract the zip file and then:
1. Run the Gta Mod Installer and click the option that says "Install a mod (with a script file) to GTA3 or Vice City." It should be the bottom choice. Next choose to install from a folder, again the bottom choice. Then choose the folder holding the files(GTA LONG NIGHT MODELS) and tell it to run the INSTALLSCRIPT_GTAVC.TXT.
2. When this is done, add the MAIN.SCM to your GTA Vice City data folder."

im not sure but it looks like its using some sort of mod manager. look for in the gtagaming.com file archives or wherever you get your mods...
How do I use VCMM?
I try the download button, it keeps coming up "out of date or unable to connect".
It can't be the connect option, cause I have it cleared for connection by ZA. I can't find any new updated versions, and there is no update button on it.
Can you tell me where I can find the updated version?

VCMM is a different mod installer, It had a database full of mods, but the creator quit because a lot of people found their created mods in the database and they didn't allow that. The problem was that everyone could submit mods, even if they didn't make them.
Anyway, I think you need this GTA Mod Installer (http://gta.gamigo.de/download.php?do=download&id=1610).
Ok, I got it installed.
But when I go to either new game or load game, it gets past the bar, says its loading, then there is a thump sound.
I check back in Windows, some kind of error. I send problem, it comes back telling me to d/l vicepatch_11.
I already did, and used it. The problem is that when I tried to use it now(after the conversion), it says that it is an unknown version of gta, and thus won't go through with the patch.
Any ideas on whats going wrong, and can you help with it?
