Save game issues

Hi, recently I have been screwing around with some skins and mods, and I did not back up one of my files, so now i can't play GTA:SA anymore. How would I go about finding my save file so I can uninstall and reinstall GTA?

As an update, I downloaded the Ultimate Save to see what the save files look like, is it is found in:
C:/Documents and Settings/<user name>/My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/
Is this right, because inside I found a GTAsf1.b file

You can find your savegame file in "My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files" folder, anything ending with .b is a savegame, Pictures and User Tracks are also stored in this folder.
