I'm using a number of car mods and I've implemented that one guy's "improved palms" mods, as well as another guy's "ships ahoy" mod I believe it's called. Everything goes fine & dandy, the game loads up. However, it only lasts so long, then the game will freeze, I press the enter button, then it goes to the desktop. A window will come up and say it's had an error, and if it wants me to send an error message online or not....
Is there a patch out there that will stabilize the game when using mods? Or could one of your technical wizards out there could create an unofficial patch to stabilize the game somehow?
Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

if they are map mods you may need to use the steve m limit adjuster (http://www.gtagaming.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=157) as the game only lets you add so many objects, this tool will let you change the ammount of objects the game will allow.

what about car mods? I don't have too many maps mods..hell, I may have one or two that I know of....
I've been having trouble with one of the aston martin replacements, the tuning model. Seems too heavy and will have a hard time stating up. When it gets going, it created sparks in the back as if both back tires as blown out, at times. It's confusing...and frustrating as the other 2 aston martin cars work fine

if something requires the limit adjuster it wont load up vc at all in my experience. my advice is dont use mods, but you want to so remove all your mods the add one play the game untill it usually crashes then add the second etc. this way you will know if it is one mod or more than one that is creating your problem.

I believe I've done that as well, especially with other mods, such as a HUD change, or some other mod. I hope somebody makes some executable file to stablize the game somehow...
why won't the limit adjuster work though?
