The situation is this:
My friend has had an interest in GTA but has never owned any of them. He is keen to buy them (and the machine to play it on). He's briefly played GTA3 and had a reasonable amount of time with a borrowed copy of Vice and is now thinking of buying. (I'm talking about the 3D ones here)
The thing is, he thinks only buying SA is enough and he "won't miss out on that much" by ignoring GTA3/Vice.
I'm not trying to make him spend all his money, but how can I get across the message that to maximse the enjoyment of these games, you should be familiar with the others...I mean you wouldn't watch The Empire Strikes Back and forget the rest of Star Wars would you.
It just seems a shame to miss out on all the character storylines (radio and missions) and all the running jokes etc.
Any ideas?
