At the BMX park get on a motorcycle and face east in the drained pool so you are facing the billboard. You have to get enough speed to hit the bottom of the sign. Just pull back as you hit the jump and continue holding back so that the front wheel hits the bottom of the board and you should pull off a true backflip.
something that you couldn`t do in vc.

that's pretty good, we can't do that in vice city cuz you can fall from the motor cycle. good job.

Actually, it is possible...not by jumping off a ramp and leaning back of course, but if you hit a pole just right, you'll go straight back and do a flip. It's really cool when you pull it off.

There are actually two ways to do a backflip in VC. The first is wheelie into a wall perfectly perpendicular to it. And I do mean perfectly. You can do it that way..
Or find a wall with a roof over it. You wheelie into the wall and when you go up you also hit the roof with your wheels and perform the full backflip. Granted this isn't technically a "true" backflip, but it works nonetheless.
Oh wait...I forgot the "bigbang" method...Just hit a ramp, press ESC to get to the menu, type in "bigbang" and pray.

well if you press esc just as you hit the ramp and then type bigbang, you will explode but get some backflips off the ramp.
