Your rockstar games folder is most likely in Program Files so try this C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas

Also note that its games.cfg and not game.cfg

I wouldn't say godsend... most of people's problems are simple :p

Now, ask me about car modeling, and you've lost me.

By the way, Nite, I'm saving your download file for next week. I'm going to make the update on Saturday anyways because I'm going on vacation on Sunday, so it's only three days away.

I seem to have the EXACT same problem... but my just wont solve.. i've done exactly as told..

Create folder
Extract files from .zip
Downloaded games.cfg
Checked that my game is in the proper directory as specified in the games.cfg file
Run MapViewer
Press F1 to F4..

Nothing happens, Nada, Zip, Zero.

EDIT: Problem Fixed! It showed up that my game was in a sub-folder that mr. windowsmonkey didn't like to show in the "properties".... thanks alot gate! :wink2: :finger:

hehe. so i've solved the problem! :)
