So you've made a nice background and you want to put a picture in it and have it blend nicely. Well this tut will help.
---------------------------------------------
You should already have your background completed and opened. Copy and paste your picture from where ever. Resize the picture if it necessary. Move the picture to where you'd like it on the image. Your image should start out looking something like this.

Now take out the lasso tool and select around or a little inside the part of the picture you want blended. Now right click your selection and click feather. It really depends on the picture and your selection for the feather radius. I suggest just messing around with numbers for awhile trying to figure out what looks best. In mine I used a 10 pixel feather radius. After doing this, press Shift+Ctrl+I. Now it should look like you're whole image is selected except for your original selection. Now press delete on your keyboard. If there's any small ares that need to be deleted just use the magic wand tool to get rid of them. If you want you can also go to Layer//New Adjustment Layer//Hue/Saturation and tick colorize and mess around until you get a color you like. This is how mine turned out.

Thanks for reading and I hope this tut helped you out!
