It's the only release for PSP that I have ever been interested about. Seriously, I got my PSP as a present from my girl on it's release date, I got games (THUG2 remix, Darkstalkers & Twisted Metal) given to me by friends as gifts... and I don't really care about anything that has came out for the PSP yet. Just using my PSP for music and just ... waiting.

Yeah, the reason I'm going to get a psp later this year is for GTA LCS and Madden. It gameplay is supposed to be bigger than GTA III and I think the graphics will be better also.

I got my PSP 3 days after the US launch, with GTA in mind. I have NBA and Twisted Metal, plus the movies Hitch and Spiderman 2. Nothing that's come out yet has been that exciting. Liberty City Stories is what I'm waiting for. I'm just listening to music on it and waiting very impatiently.

i have a little fear that the hype wont live up to the game. Like san andreas was the most hyped game ive ever been a part of waiting for. i was on the message boards here every day from when the details started emerging to the release date. every friday or saturday gamespot and ign did features and slowly but surely there was a map of the state unfolding on the offical site with lots of info and movies and pics. It was pure amazing. i feel that the hype for SA was better that getting and playing it. IMO.

anyway LCS wont have as much hype because not as many people have a psp but i sure am excited.

and the uk and europe wont be seeing the game till late october, early november IMO

I'm not getting it for a few reasons: I've played enough GTA3 to the point well I wanna blow up liberty city, I don't like handhelds at (4.3' screen whoopdy doo) Maybe a rom will come out for the pc then i will play it but, I don't know anything about psp roms tho. Mustangs and high-end cars are popular, does that mean everyone has one? No, $250 for the psp then $50 the game+gas money, you have a total of around $320-$330. That;s a good invesment if you plan to play as much as you go to school but the only people I see buying the psp just for LCS are, idoits and rich people. College is killing me so I'm just save what I can and wait for the xbox 360 or nintendo revultion to hit the stores.

I think the real question is not whether how many GTA's the PSP will sell but "How many PSP's will GTA sell?"

This game will be the Halo of the PSP in my opinion. If it does well then PSP's in general will become more of a real competitor for handheld systems...$250 or not.

GTA will sell many PSP units. Unless you wanna wait another two years (at least) for the next 3D GTA, if there is one on PS3, you gotta run out and get Liberty City Stories. I was holding off on the PSP but by the time LCS drops, I will have copped the game and the system, I can't sleep on that one.
