Modding is is when you change something to something else. You need to have certain programs to mod, have to practice and learn to use the programs well, and have a lot of patience. I've tried map modding and it's a hard as hell if you've never read a tutorial or anything. Hope that answers your question, just make sure you post in the right forum next time ;).
