if you look closely at the uk magazine they ask the question is it going to be multiplayer? and rockstar said they are still not sure. Take a look for yourself http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/ message?board.id=pspgames&message.id=63593 and go to the very last picture and read the interview with dan (the rockstar spoksman)

The lack of planes and helicopters is something to do with the physics isnt it?
The lack of multiplayer would be a HUGE loss, that would be the greatest thing on earth if they got it sorted out. Being on a train (there fitting them with Wi fi hotspots in the next few months) and playing GTA with someone thousands of miles away. The thought of it makes me well up. Come on Rockstar and Sony pull your fingers out on this one!!! But as its quite late in development im very doubtful any major changes will be made. I'm Gutted

i thought the psp used wi fi? this meaning that you could connect to hot spots and use their larger broadwidth, am i wrong cos im not sure?
that is why i said i doubt it was multiplayer cos it would be widely advertised and talked about is true.

u use the usb stick provided - some1 would need to make a program to get through all the cracks sony must of produced

Are you saying that games like quake or any other mass online gamer get boring? but this would have much more potential you could have street races, peacefully co-exist the possibilities are endless.

i think there class and can never die of fun-ness

small multiplayer missions like rampage and races etc. would fit me fine for mutli for psp gta

im not saying i find them boring, i didnt mean for it to be percieved that way i think they are immense. and this option would improve the longevity of GTA lCS greatly... come to think about it so would any type of multiplayer.

i wouldn't care if there was no multiplayer - but my reaction to multiplayer wouldn't really want me to get the game more it just i love the single player and just roaming around too much to care

how about counter strike type of multiplayer, like you have two or more teams in a gang fight just like in Counter Strike or 24 to Life.

theres a game coming out in the next few years which is a "massive online" gamer, called swat or something, one group play the police and one groups of petty thieves robbing and vandalising the police have to keep order whereas the others have to make it hard for them, but this would be far too complicated for the psp.

ya, that is too complicated, I kindda meant; in san andreas where you have to take over turfs, like that kind of multiplayer type, but it would be just action, not "our turf is under attack" kind of thing.

yeh that would be cool but people are doubting whether there will be any type of multiplayer. personally I rekon if rockstar can get anythign it would be cool lets not forget the major advances that are being made with the psp as it is.
