Review
Nice job Rockstar San Deigo!, This is a great game, nice visuals and is way better then the previous Midnight Club: 2 (http://www.rockstargames.com/midnightclub2/). If you have played it you would think you're playing a totally diffrent game, the graphics are better, charactor designs is excellent. It borrows off some NFSU2 things, but MC3: DUB Edition feels like a whole new game, not just a sequal. The best new feature to me was, CUSTOMIZATION. Yes! Finnaly with all the new, and real, cars added I can finnaly customize it, making my Mitsubishi Eclipse looks AWESOME. Not only this game a must get but its fun for everyone, well the racing genre likers anyway. Some people might say, 'It's so fake no realism at all!' well there is some defualts but I like how they have one nitrous burst per race unlike that 3 they used last time, some people might not like it so much but its pretty cool. Another great feature is ROAR. Man do I love the 'Roar' option, which is only for Trucks and Bikes, I dont remember specifically, to get ROAR you have to beat series of races in a tourny, when you get roar you must drift to get it filled up once it gets filled up man it's aweomse for those highway races! and oppenents who get edgy and think they can win, HAH! Well anyways this is all I was going to add more but you're probably like, 'DAMN SHUT UP ALREADY!' :p.

NFSU is more about the whole tuning scene, bikes don't fit too well into that.

I got it. beat it actually. 100%
Its that same ol R* AI tho- traffic is a big problem. To help with this they have special moves-roar blasts evry1 out of your way, and zone slows down time ala the matrix for a few seconds.

The bikes deserve special notes here- they are AWESOME!! the sport bikes, Aprilla, Ducati, Kawasaki are just out of this world man, they alone are worth the price of the game. Many bike races have great jumps-just a gas that had me openly laughing with delight and yelling "yeeeeaaaaaaa!!"
Choppers sound and look cool and are very fast, but are of course poor handlers-E brake em around tight corners.

SOME of the cool 69 cars total you can buy and win- Skyline, Lancer, Eclipse, Toyota Supra, 300C, Caddys, Lexus's, Lotus Elise and Espirit, 68 Vette, Z06 Vette, Viper GTS R, 69 Dodge Charger, 69 Camaro, 81 Camaro, 70 GTO "THE JUDGE!", 57 Bel Air, Saleen S7, Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago, Cadillac Cien, Porsche 911, Saleen SLR Mustang, Hummer 1 & 2, Mecedes CLK GTR, ...and more! Check here-

One correction tho- you have more than one burst of NOS-you build up more bursts by drafting other cars in the race.
You race and earn "parts levels", and custom body parts and paints/decals. And vehicles!

Race the people (blue triangles) in the cities to advance parts levels and open the other cities fastest. You start in San Diego, then open Atlanta, then Detroit.

City races earn cash and customoxing parts for your car.
Then there are specific vehicle Tournaments-ie: Truck/SUV, Tuners (ricers), Muscle Cars, Luxury Sedans, Exotics, Choppers, and Sport Bikes.

To race in these you must have that specific class of vehicle, and you earn cash of course, special parts for that class, and at the end of the tourney (if you win)-a special vehicle in that category.

First I won a Dubb'd out 300C-very nice, then a guys Chopper after racing him 3 races. Later I won a Cadillac Escalade EXT , Dub'd out of course, a Mercedes SL55, Mercedes SUV, Cadillac Cien, Ducati SS1000, Chrysler ME412, Skyline, and finally a Lamborghini Murcielago!

Along the way you earn cash and can buy /sell cars in your garage, customize them, paint them-they have alooooot of rims, body kits, paints and decals/stripes-very well done. Paints include matte, gloss, metallic, pearlescent, and color shift! Different colors in each group and the paints are all free!

Customizing your car doesnt cost much, $200-500 for a front bumper or spoiler, rims can get expensive, some spinners can run to $11k, but there are many many more much less. You can lower cars and change tire profile to get it slammed right to the ground! Its really great. Its almost endless. Noone should have the same car with all the choices.

You can also "duplicate" a vehicle you own, and paint/customize it differently. This means you could have 10 skylines all with different paint and wheels, and body kits and only own one car!

The cities are laid out just awesome-but - be warned, it is sometimes very difficult, if you know R*, you know what I mean.
The reward is awesome jumps a hundred feet up and 3-4-5 city blocks long, across rooftops, crashing thru malls, jumping rivers, and long freeway runs over 200mph plus hitting the nos!

It really raises the bar in visuals and adrenilin charged racing. You will be sweating from the near misses, and cussing because a traffic car cost you a race, but you will ultimatley agree they really gave you a thrill and a challenge!

videos, and review by IGN--bike hits a jump on NOS then does a complete 360 in midair an lands it!

K, i decided not to make a new thread about it, but i got the PSP version of this game yesterday.

It is awsome. The graphics are amazing, same with the sound quality. The loading screens however do take a while, but after a while you will get used to them.

I've been playing it non-stop since i got it :P
