This game takes the action from the newer games and throws in the speed from the original ones, while adding a bit of strategy (in a good way) and adventure. There are 4 teams to pick from, each with different stories in story mode. Things begin simple, and the first stage kind of reminds me of the first world in Sonic 2. However, in each stage, something else is added. Also, there's 3 sections to a stage (One seems to favor a certain formation more) and a boss. I love Stage 3 'The Metropolis' area. It combines the speed of the oldskool ones, but rails for grinding. Also, don't be afraid to rail hop to find more rings. Another good stage is the first part of the Railway stage. It's completely made of rails.

Story: Each story is really nice. There's saving the world and revenge stories that don't seem forced. I give it a 10/10

Graphics: These are beautiful, I love to just look around at my surroundings sometimes and admire how well they did, however a few glitch problems happen in the casino stage so I give it an 8/10

Sounds: Nysh, I love the soundeffects and the theme song is great (I'm listening to it now). Everything sounds like it should and the characters are nicely voiced. 10/10

Controls: They're pretty easy, press a button to switch to someone else, hit a button to attack, hit one to team attack, and jump then hit attack for a super attack. Different jumping abilities and stuff, very nice. 9/10 Only because its weird switching on the fly at first, but you get used to it.

Overall I give it a 9/10. The pros make up greatly for the cons, the only reason I took off one is due to the glitching in the Casino stage and the fact that some parts seem extremely hard, but the fun factor of the originals is there, there's lots of replay value due to the fact there are different paths to explore and stories, plus different modes to unlock. I recommend this game greatly, it's now my favorite game.

Sonic adventure 2 was so much better, don't you think.

I dunno this game didnt have the sonic feel of going hella fast, and just ramming through stuff.

I like Sonic Heroes better, I dunno. To me, it seems to combine the good of the oldskool with the good from Sonic Adventure 2, but Sonic Adventure 2 is high up there with me. I love doing the tricks and grinding in it.

Yeah man, & the two player racing was hella fun.

The secret for getting all the emblems really wasn't worth it though.

Yeah, I know what ya mean. I love racing mode in it, I go into it by myself sometimes just to run around and see if I can come up with things to get better. Like in the pyramid stage, jumping off the rail and falling to the bottom and landing on the rail again for a huge lead :D
