I give the game Mafia about 8 out of 10 rating. The gameplay is really fun and the setting is awesome to. There are some really sweet stunt like things that you can do but not very well. When you're riding in a car music plays but you can't change the station and it's not constantly playing. You can also act out scenes from movies if you feel like it. Here's a list of the Pros and Cons. Pros- Awesome time period. Good guns. Realism. Drivebys. Cool mission objectives such as in the last level the objective is to "Kill All The Bastards". The Gun Shop. Cool looking (but slow) cars. Good cut-scene graphics. Sweet Free Ride and Free Ride Extreme modes. The money gaining system, example you get money for killing people or blowing up cars. Cons- Slow cars. Only one slide pistol (the rest are revolvers). Not good for stunting. A mission that consists of driving around a taxi. Really difficult beginning mission. A bit glitchy. Small selection of music. Graphics aren't the best. Now that I've given my input on the game, what do the rest of you think of it?

Some more things i forgot about to talk about in the game are- I really love how you slowly progress like getting taught how to pick certain cars locks at a time, and also how you have to go to certain places at the "headquarters" to get and learn certain things. I also like the fact that the game is huge, but not TOO huge, i got it memorized in about two weeks. Some more things i DONT like about the game is that he cant swim. Its almost natural instinct for humans to swim but oh well that makes it more of a challenge. I HATED the first mission and the race missions, they were SO tedious. All in all i think the game is great, especially on the Free Ride and Free Ride Extreme setting, the cinematgrophy and the setting almost makes it lifelike.

I have it, great game I have to say, is fun to drive around with those old cars, the story line is good, the graphics are good for a game that old, nice review there, for me is a must have game f you like the Mafia things and GTA like games

I've got the game, and I love it except for the slow cars and when you shoot the aim jerks up.

I just got the game yesterday and I'm really enjoying it. The in-game graphics ain't the best, but the cinematic graphics are awesome...somewhere near SA and VC cutscenes. I agree that the gameplay is a little iffy...especially when you have a revolver and it takes 4 headshots before the stupid Morello bastard dies.

It was an okay game but when you fell in the water you died. Sucks. Also my fav mission would have to be the boat mission. Where you creep on to the boat and kill that guy.

I think games should be more realistic in some areas and less in others. Such as being able to swim should be a given. And guns shouldn't kick that much. Also i don't really care how many shots it takes to kill me, I just care how few shots it realistically takes to kill and enemy.

Yeah, that is pretty cool. But i hate it in games when you flip a car it just lights up and explodes. That ticks me off. Anyone agree?
