Overall I think Gran Turismo 4 is a enchanced version of GT3. Anyways there are over 650 cars , over 100 courses and photo realistic graphics. They added some new stuff like Photo Mode wich you can take snap shots of your cars and share them in the computer via USB. Tunning Mode in now revamped. You can play online but only LAN network. They upgraded the controls and feels realistic with Logitech Driving Force Pro. But they failed at the Rally and Snow controls (feels like the wall is a magnet in the rear end of your car). But overall this game is great!!! 9.6/10
Here are some of the pictures I took:

They didn't fail at the rallying segment. It's much more realistic now.

I drive a real car at the dirt at 80mph goin at a curve. It's not what it feels like. It turns like hell
Comes out on Friday in Europe... I can't wait!

So you've rally raced? With a tuned lightweight car that has torque and horsepower out the ass?
I don't think you have. You can't compare a stock car to a tuned rally car.
The physics are 99% accurate as of now, many auto manufacturers stand by that. I've driven on back country roads, and I for one feel it is a damn good representation.

hahahhahahahhahahhahaha die in a pit. gran turismo 4 is the most realistic racing game ever, and as cyrix said, the physics are 99% accurate. nobody be mislead by this review-the game is amazingly amazing.
oh, and over 650 cars, not 300, and up to 100 tracks, not 50. too bad the review couldn't have been done by someone who knew what they're talking about.

If you are going to review a game, at least be responsible enough to get the facts straight. Instead of throwing around make believe numbers and saying the physics aren't even close to being realistic, when the auto industry backs them up.

although i don't know the exact percentage, the physics are not 99% accurate because there is no car damage. Yes I know that was really pedantic of me. In fact Cyrix is right, the most realistic car game ever. Some might say too realistic...

Car damage is negligible. I'm talking in terms of aerodynamics, weight balance, weight shifts, distribution, traction, etc....
They didn't include damage physics because ti would have been half assed. And they do NOT and will not ever put in anything half assed.

as i said it was a pedantic comment. I totalyl agree with you. But in my heart the greatest driving game was Metropilis Street Racer. If they had been given the oppurtunitites that the polyphony team have had... well MSR would be a serious challenger.

Congratulations, Compton G. You just got yourself 5 warning points, and as an added bonus, I'll close the thread!
PS: Don't have an outburst like that again.
