View Full Version : Apple question
I might be getting an Apple iBook for my birthday, and I'm wondering about something. Would I be able to use AIM/MSN/Trillian on it, or just its iChat program?

as far as i know, you can use iChat :p
but you can aso download AIM cause i have, but i don't know about Trillian and MSN
so:
iChat - definitly
AIM - definitly
Trillian - depends if that software is designed for Apple also
MSN - questionable

Heh 2 more days JMR, 4 for me tho =(
Yay for me getting a Mac Mini
Yeah, iChat apparently is AIM-compatible.
I thought MSN wouldn't be, being a Microsoft program and all, but turns out it is.

Yeah, i know AIM is definitly one along with iChat, which is basically the same thing
MAC OS X can do alot of stuff, but i like windows better :p
i use iBooks all the time at school cause they have several thousand iBook lap tops for everyone to use, one for all the teachers, about a hundred for the elementary kids, and thousands for junior high and highschoolers to use

@kakalim - no, just our town's public school, but our town has around 2000 or less citizens, so the school is just somehow VERY FRIGGIN rich

There is an old winamp beta for mac, firefox is a yes. there are is a good program that is like trillian called http://www.adiumx.com/ that is made just for Mac. no msn explorer obvoiusly, but you get Safari (the apple browser that kicks ass)! and that makes me jealous of you :(
