Final Fantasy 10 revolutionised the final fantasy series from an amazing, in-depth breathtaking adventure to something quite different.
Looking at final fantasy X when I first played it I thought 'things can't be better then this'. The graphics were amazing, and not just in the cut scenes. The music was different and the best from any final fantasy game. The environment was huge and expansive and as for the story line, I was gripped from the moment tidus' life was changed by sin.
To this day I can't name any game with such an impact from the opening scene. The graphic were so amazing, I was lost for words. I reset the game many time just to see it again. After the excitement of that it was time to view the graphics in the game. These were just as stunning.
For the fist time ever the characters talked, making the experience even more alive. The voices were perfect. The music to match it was also brilliant.
In final fantasy x you play as the 17 year old teenage out to find where he is. Obviously this gets answered but many more questions get asked and he gets dragged into something which will change the world forever. Exposing the main religion, yevon, to be untrue. Oh and of cause saving the world :p
However, looking back at the game now after playing final fantasy 7 again there was something very wrong about number 10. It didn't have a final fantasy feel, like 7, 8 and 9 did. Nevertheless the game is still stunning but not as good as any of the Playstation 1 versions.
Overall
Graphics 10/10 Amazing when the game was released and still are fucking impressive today
Sound 10/10 Music is the best from any game ever.
Game Play 7/10 doesn’t match up with the style and graciousness of the other final fantasy but still good
Lifespan 10/10 Give it your hand and it will show you the world
Total Score
8.5/10 The disappointment is it just doesn’t size up to the previous titles.
