Prince of Persia Warrior Within

When i bought this game, i thought to myself:
'cool another action game, i always wanted to play this'
well, this might be one of the best action games i have played in a long time. you need to solve puzzles and make your way through a huge and treacherous castle.

the story takes place 5-7 years after prince of persia: sands of time. after the prince opened the sands of time, he created an anomaly in time. however, a beast named dahaka wasnt pleased with this, and decided to kill the prince in order to make things normal again. the prince then decides to travel back in time so he can prevent the creation of the sands of time, so the dahaka would not need to kill him.

one of the first things you will quickly notice is the dark environment of the game. the prince is now a bad-ass looking prince, instead of the noble prince in Sands of time. some gamers will not like the changes ubisoft made to the prince, others however will like it (me, for example).

another big diference between WW and SoT is the combat system. in WW you have a lot of gory and bloody combos which you can perform with ease. you will also be able to collect various secondary weapons such as swords, daggers, axes, maces, etc. using these weapons will allow you to perform more combos.

overall, prince of persia is a an extremely great game. if you enjoy the prince of persia series or if you like action games, this is a must have game.

So is a must buy, I´ve been loving prince of persia games since the DOS version (great game), I think I will probably buy this, another POP game is a must buy for me.

its a great game, but if you loved the noble prince in previous PoP games, you might not like this version of the prince

Ive played a really really old version once on PC thats the first one I ever played.

Personally, I hated the bloody game. The controls were rubbish, and the camera changes were just so ridiculous, as was the fact the controls are relative to the camera angle. I found myself too often just running off a cliff because of an IMMEDIATE camera change. I wouldn't have minded if they made the camera changes seem helpful, but the put them in such rare places, and the places they did put them in were absolutely no help whatsoever.

Mind you, did I use a keyboard to play it. But I'm so sick of it now that buying a gamepad wouldn't do any difference. And, to top it all off, Game don't do PC returns anymore. Bastards.

The combos were great alot of new additions the dual weilding is amazing.Great storyline not much too complain about. 9.5/10

I just started to play the game two days ago and i love it. I beat Sands of time and was looking to playing Warrior withing for a heck of a long time, IT KICKS ASS. So many new actions and weapons,so many ways to interact with everything. the only downside is (i agree with you all ) is that the camera thing is crap but i guess after a while you get used to it.

Gorgeous graphics once again. The controls were pretty damn good.

My only gripe is the boss battles. They seemed so generic. I liked the first POP more.

And the length....needs to be much longer.

Nice Review. I love the first SoT but i haven't bought it yet. I wasn't really planning on buying it soon but now that i know about all the secondary weapons you can have, it's definitely on my shopping list.
