I would definitely recommend this game to any Star Wars fan. I might even recommend it for non Star Wars fans. It's got quite good gameplay, even though it does get a little repetitive. The levels each have their own distinct feel to it. There is PT and OT time periods, and you can fight for Republic or CIS, and the Empire, or the Rebels.
In conclusion, I'd have to give Star Wars Battlefront an 8/10.

Decent game surprisingly alot of charicters on the map without the game slowing down (PS2).

I wish the game had playable jedi's. I love using the lightsaber, blocking those laser things and killin' people.

Game would of ahve been incredible if you were allowed to use jedi's I would've liked to see a bit better A.I sure it was great but sometimes they just stand around. 7/10
