The Game Killzone isn't a "Halo Killer" as promised in a few reviews, but it is an awesome FPS.
In the area of gameplay, it gets a 8/10 The aiming is good, and the crosshair looks nice, a change from other FPS. The War you're engaging in actually feels like a war, because you need to think, and take adaquate cover to survive an assault from the enimes or "Helghast".
Graphics gets a 7/10 They're good graphics, but nothing incredibly mindblowing, but you can tell effort was put in.
Story-6/10
This is where the game feels a bit thin for me, its a story, you know, it does what its supposed to, but it seems like just another "Invasion-save-race" type of deal.
Sound-9/10 I really enjoyed the sound, the "Helghast" have their own accent, which cracks me up, and the gunshots and explosions sound real, a real strong point, imo.
In conclusion, i feel KillZone deserves an 8.5 out of Ten.
Great Gameplay and sound make up for its less than stellar story. The Gameplay doesnt just Let you "Shoot 'em up" It puts you in a war, that feels as real as a fictional war can.
If FPS is your thing, i reccomend Killzone, if you're a casual gamer, this is a rent.
