Re:Grand Thieves Audio modologues:
On Bunk, we’ve published the beta of the “Grand Thieves Audio” project. These MP3s constitute our attempt to carjack the audio on “GTA: Vice City.” (http://www.bunkmag.com/vice/) The idea is to create the illusion of new nonplayer characters in the game through the audio.
Current downloads include: Army Recruiter, Mama Vercetti, The Driver’s Ed Instructor, and Arnold Schwarzenegger (though this last is anachronistic and probably more suitable to “San Andreas”), we couldn’t resist.
To enjoy, just go to the site, download and pop them into the MP3 folder of your PC or XBOX version of the game. (Not available for PS2). If you don’t have the XBOX or PC version, I imagine you could burn them to a CD and play while you are driving around your own neighborhood. That would be a very different kind of game.
