have you figured out the point of the splunk machine, it refills health, and yes of coarse there is the snack machine to keep up stanima

Thats the point, not everything in the game is meant to help you... its just there. Its way better having so much stuff there.

But I thought you couldn't lose stamina... once you built it up by riding the exercise bike or running on the treadmill or just generally running/swimming about, doesn't it just maintain its level?

I think you can rob it. Also, there are two arcade games you can play in one of them in Los Santos.
