I'm trying to piece together the connections in GTA3 and Vice. In GTA3 it mentions the Forelli boys...I know one of the Forelli guys is in VC. Do they actually have a gang/stake in Liberty City? Or are they in vice city waging a cross-city gang war with the mafia in liberty?
Any ideas? Maybe I missed something story-wise.

In Liberty, there is a Marco's Bistro, that's the Forellis' place, and that's where the game starts. In a mission you have to kill Mike Forelli by putting a bomb from 8-ball into his car

You kill Lips Forelli, not Mike.
Lips is his nickname. His real name is Mike.

ok, originally there was probably at least 5 of the forellis... the two that chase you when you transport the dead body, the dead body in the trunk of the manana, sonny, and mike...any others?

Georgio, from Vice City. Sonny's cousin who's on trial for something and you have to intimidate the jurors.
And oh, yeah, I forgot that the mission where you kill Lips is called "Mike Lips Last Lunch." So there's Sonny(dies), Georgio, Mike Lips, and a few others.

ok, so there is the two who chase you when your on the mission to transport the body, then there is the guy who is in the trunk, then there is sonny, mike, and also Georgio...so 6...man, a lot of siblings lol haha

I don't if they guy in the trunk is actually a Forelli. I think he's just someone who pissed them off.

Here is something interesting there is a Forelli family mob in Las Venturas in San andreas , you fly to marco bistros in liberty city and kill them off for salvatore, and they run a few casinos .

It was something like "One of the Forelli's" and I can't remember the rest..
From Gamefaqs.com I got the following:
