Sorry for double post!!!

(you should get a readme file with every download, just read that and it will tell you step by step what to do.)

This is for auto install.

It's really easy to install mods which you have downloaded from GTAGaming

Firstly, you need a copy of the Vice City Mod Manager.

There should be a .vcm file in this WinZip file, simply extract it to the vcmm/mods/vcm/ folder.
(This will usually be C:\Program Files\vcmm\mods\vcm)

Next, open up Vice City Mod Manager, select your new mod and choose install.

If you've downloaded a car mod, you MUST make sure you install DMagic1's wheel mod, which is INCLUDED with Vice City Mod Manager.

First, download Vice City Mod Manager (VCMM). This is an automatic mod installer for most mods found on this website.
If you are downloading a mod from Gtagaming.com, look for the 'VCM' file.

If you have to do a manual mod, the instructions will normally be included. You will probably need a program like IMG tool - what this does is opens the file in your GTA directory that contains all the cartextures in one file, and allows you to change certain files (think of the main file like a .zip file, and the IMG tool allows you to take out and add in new textures).
The mod will normally tell you which textures you need to change.

Player mods are just .bmp files that change how Tommy looks.

If you want total conversion mods, there are a few of those around - my personal favourite is GTA-LC. These files are normally pretty large, and have automatic installers as well.

Have a cruise through the tools page on the download section, you should find heaps that you want.

Also mate, you shouldnt triple post like above - the forum moderators kinda hate that stuff.
