I just finished GTA-VC.
I'm waiting for the cash to buy GTA3.
It's only $20, but I've got kids to feed.
*sigh*
ANYWAY
I was looking at a map online for GTA3.
Damn the areas look HUGE!
Is this game bigger than VC?
It certainly looks it!
Aside from the nostalgia factor (which I love by the way), and the apparent lack of persona on 'Fido's' part, is this game better, worse, or just as good as VC?
I've heard some people say that VC feels more like a mod for GTA3, or that it was the same game with a few extras thrown in.

what ? first you dont know whats a dodo is.
and now you dont even know if Sa going bigger than Vc .
Btw : buy gta 3 , you gonna love it ( no motors etc, only 1 plane,cars,boats.

anyway, i might ask a bunch of questions that are OBVIOUS to you lot.
I never bothered asking them on the GameFAQs boards for....well....if you'd ever been there you'd know why it pays to keep your questions to yourself.

Well, I havent compared maps, but Liberty City, does seem to be bigger than Vice City.

YOu should get it, its a great game wich were great, but better in vc.
When playing the game for the first time its great,.
I think the map is smaller, the actual coverage, but the second island is small and not much to do,.

GTA3 is a great game and well worth getting if you liked Vice.
Just a couple of points, remember that this was before Vice so there are no bikes or aircraft (apart from the Dodo)
The map does feel bigger and is in many ways more varied than Vice even though officially Vice is bigger.

It doesn't seem possible, but as I Am A Bad Man just said, Vice is bigger. It can't be too much larger though. GTA3 had three islands as opposed to Vice's 2.

Yeah, it had alot better terrain. Liberty had hills, valleys, natural jumps, and lots of sweet inclines. Vice City was flat as a 10 year old girl.

III was more 'in-depth' than Vice City, thus making bigger perspectively.
