Well, i bet you get this a lot, but i really need help wiv vc, and mods, i downloaded vcmm, to try and keep installing mods simple, but it just wont work, i've got other tools, such as img tool, and car editor, and i got the custom wheel download too, but it wont work, while i install the mods something goes wrong, and i don't understand ca n someone help me, to download properly, in the most simplest way, and where i should go to get certain files, i read the sticky one on this forum, but i still don't understand, sorry, and help will be deeply appreciated:)
well, the mods work now, but they are only white, and the merceilago i downloaded is like the size of a bus, and i got some error thing saying something about handling

Sorry dude icant help, i only have VC for ps2, and i have no idea how to work mods or anything, you should see me on the unreal forums

Oh that happened to me. The only white thing. It happened when I modded the skimmer into a zero fighter. No one on the board helped me but I figured it out by myself.
The problem was that I had forgotten to delete the extra skimmer.dff. I think having two color and texture schemes the game just says screw it and takes out all color and textures.
Make sure you only have one .dff and .txt file.
You have to edit the handling sometimes. Not sure how though.

White cars = your gfx card doesn't support direct x texture compression. Basically, what that means is, the game has to uncompress all the textures the 1st time it plays, you put the new files in the compressed .img file, not the uncompressed one.
There used to be a sticky about this and I don't think anyone came to a conclusion that works 100% of the time.

Go into your MODELS folder and delete IMG.TXD. I think it's that file. I havn't got VC installed on this computer so I can't remember the file name exactly. Then load the game again and it will do that thing where it optimises textures for your graphcs card = no white cars. Unfortunatly you have to do this everytime you install another car mod.
