Ceder Ridge Abservatory ?

Does anyone know how do you get to the abservatory in Shoreside Vale? If you dont know what i'm talking about- its on the map that came with the game. The place is #11.

It's just for show. It isn't solid and you can't land on it.

Maybe a mission was supposed to be set there, and then something happened like they ran out of time.

Yeah, they really skimped out on Shoreside Vale.Only one mission from Catalina and a few lame missions from phone boss D-Ice.

I tried reaching the obsevartoy on foot last night, but it's surrounded by a huge foundation, so it's unreachable, nice view though. But speaking of the Dodo plane, Shoreside Vale just opened up to me last night ( hey I'm new to this ) I was having fun at the airport, and that dippy little plane just doesn't wanna take off. Whats' the deal?

I'd like some advice on how to get that thing to fly. Also, I'd like to know what other aircraft are available for flight, I'm excited to take an air tour of Liberty!

And whats' this about flying tanks?

Ok LateNight:
- Glad you got GTA3, good game :)
- Yes, Its a nise view from that hill
- The DODO is almost imposable to fly ( due to 9/11 and cliped off wings ) :(
- If you want to fly get Vice City, it has a bunch of helis' you can fly and a sea plane
- The are no other aircraft in GTA3 :(
- There's a cheat code to "fly" cars and stuff
its : Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Down, L1, R1

Thankfully, I bought the GTA double pack, so I have been diligently working on both LC and VC. I wish the game manuals were more informative though. Thats' what led me here.

the dodo plane has many manuals on the web , just google it, and it is very possible to fly also i donot believe that the "cliped" the wings because of 911 , they already had the flying cars cht so heyy decidedto make a plane has a bit to a better reson why.

And maybe there's a way to find out the REAL reason from R* ?

It wasn't because of 9/11 because the game was completed and shipped before 9/11.
