Is everyone actually looking forward to this? Is i supposed to be another story or is it gonna be like GTA3 with the name advance?

Man i was really hoping rockstar would stay loyal o the ps2 and not cross over to the gameboy advance...but it would be okay if it was gta3 or other. If it was new, :angry: :mad2:

It's built like GTA3, it plays like GTA3, and takes place in the same city as GTA3, but it has a new storyline, characters, and missions. (And the city is three times larger, too.)

Yah I know about the gta double pack but that was just a holiday special. If gta advance comes out for ps2, then its ok. If its a complete sepereate story from 1, london, 2, 3, vice, city, and the upcoming san andreas, then its ok.

if its a story that IS connected and counts with the previous gtas, it should come out for PS2.

The GTA Double Pack wasn't just a "Holiday Special". It was put on another system to make more money. That's the point of running any company. You put your game on more systems, you make more money. Which is exactly why GTA Advance exists in the first place. There are more GBA owners out there than any console system.

And it'll probably be about as "connected" to GTA3 as Vice City was. I.E., a few minor mentions of something or other, and that's it. Just because it takes place in Liberty City doesn't mean it'll be a direct sequel or prequel to GTA3. They even made a new city map so even that won't be the same.

Because GTA Advance has already been delayed for three years. If it's finished it doesn't need to sit on Rockstar's computers anymore, it needs to get released.

It's always been the same game. Even back when they started developing the game for GBA and it was called GTA3, it was a brand new game. New storyline, new characters, etc. Metal Gear Solid for GameBoy Color was like this. Same name as the console version, but an entirely new game.

What do you mean "what would the line-up be"? If by "line-up" you mean official GTA games, then all of them. GTA, GTA London, GTA2, GTA3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, and GTA Advance. They're all separate games, they're all GTA games, and they all take place at different points in time. What's so hard to understand?

Are you talking about when the games take place? If that's the case, then San Andreas takes place before GTA Advance. Rockstar have already said that San Andreas takes place in the early 90s and Advance takes place one year before GTA3.
