Does anyone know if Phil Cassidy is in Grand THeft Auto 3? If so, where and when do you do his missions? Oh and how many arms does he have?

You dont do missions for him you just help him kill some of the Cartel when they come to that army place with the tank and barracks. He has one arm
yeah, that mission is pretty cool btw, gains you alot of free ammo.

So you pretoect Phil Cassidy from being attacked? Does he look the same like in Vice City?

No, in VC he has hair(a mullet *shudder*), and two arms(most of the time). And his voice is a bit different, done by Gary Busey.
he looks kinda weird in LC imo. his arm is 'gone' from the shoulder in LC, and it's being blown off on his upper arm in VC.
lol, he has a slight accent in LC which he doesn't haves in VC

Does he ever mention Tommy Vecetti? I mean he has experience with both Tommy and Fido and Tommy first so he should atleast say something like hey you remind of Vercetti or someting like that

No, and in GTA3, he says he lost his arm in Nicaragua with Ray Machowski.

Oh yeah I remember him sayin that. But in the whole gtaIII game they never remember them sayin his name so how could we really know if it was him. But I guess its just suppose to symbolize Phil in VC.

After you kill the Columbians, it says "Go check on Phil" at the bottom of the screen. I know it has some other references to his name and his arm(such as the mission name: "Arms Shortage"), but I can't remember.

Wait but that's impossible! How can he be losing his arm from wherever-whoever when he lost his arm from being drunk? Maybe he was just lying.
Oh and youcan find out he is Cassidy because if you got the map that came with the game look on Stauntan Island and #10 should be Phil Cassidy's Army Surplus.

Because of Vice City's characterization of Phil Cassidy, I always assumed that he was exaggerating his military service, perhaps having delusions of a combat situation as an after-effect of all that Boomshine. He is all messed up during Boomshine Saigon and has hallucinations of Charlie (Viet Cong) attacking, that is how I explained the discrepancy between 'Nam & Nicaragua. He could have been screwed-up on Boomshine and Ray had to bail his arse out!
The GTAIII version of Phil has white short cropped hair, am I right? Maybe before Ray extricated him from whatever accident, he burned off his mullet!

He is definetly thin. He just looks way too different from Vice City Phil ... in the GTA timeline that was just 15-16 years ago, right?

GTA3 is 2001, Vice City is 1986.
And in GTA3, he's actually kind of fat, from what I remember.

I'm pretty sure it was supposed be the same time period as when it came out, which was in 2001.

Anyways, you guys have to think, when gta 3 came out R* had no idea what VC was gonna be like. so maybe they thought it would be more interesting to add another way his arm got blown off. also Phil seemed a lot younger and less mature in vice city, I wonder what boomshine would be like in an rpg launcher...
