I think Fido is russian. Why? First, Brighton Beach is found no where in Liberty City, and the only major power missing is the Russians. This could explain why he never talks, isn't really on any ones side, and noone knows his name.

Yes, he's Columbian. Missing the tan and everything. :/ I just don't like that idea. Besides, the russians are the only other major power in NY thatwasn't featured in the game.And I do agree he looks russian. (The only thing that makes a russian noticable is the accent, unless its the women your looking at)

Fido was also in Grand Theft Auto 2 and in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and there he did not talk either.

His name is Claude Speed, he gets killed in GTA2, Watch the free films on the GTA2 main website, the guy does actually look like him abit, and walks like like, but since u hear no1 talking (music is played instead), u do see him go upto a mob bos and say sumthin, and at the end of it, u see the hired assassin walk behind him and shoot him, soz to any1 who didnt know this
