This is a GTA site not BBC or CNN, you want real world news then look around the internet or watch TV.
What would the point in double posting be? Its stupid and it looks untidy.
If you want to talk about news just make a thread in the Off topic forum, no need for a forum just for world news.

You should make it like the crap shack then, any posts in the news threads don't count towards your total count.
but really, what's the use of it?
letting people know what's going on in the world? they'll be like OMGAF I DINT NO DAT!!11! and then they'll see it on tv, just a moment after they've read it over here.
it's just stupid, having a new section on a forum :p
