Everytime when I switch more than 3 times in and out of GTA3 onto windows and vice versa, the game either freezes or lags (lets me continue the game, but suddenly, switches back onto the desktop).
I've done this with nothing running in the background (from what I can see on the task bar) to having trainers and the console admin (just to help with the mission times and hidden packages).
Here's my computer specs:
Intel P4 2.8ghz processor
Asus P4s8x-x motherboard
Crucial 512mb DDRram stick
ATI All-in-wonder 9700 w/ 128mb
Maxtor 120 and 60gb Hard drives
I just recently formatted, thinking that it would solve the problem, but it didn't. And I tried running it in two user profiles (in my "main" profile, where I have all of my work, and one that I made for playing games).
And I noticed that my Liteon 48x read CD burner became hot after I removed the CD. I'll check that with a no cd patch I'll find tomorrow.
