Hey Everyone,
I'm just new here, this is actually my first post. I was just wondering what you guys and girls out there considered to be your most memorable moments in Vice. Just list off any achievements that you think are worthy of a mention.
My greatest achievement was when I got up to and passed Vigilante Mission 300 (Yeah, I was really bored so I thought I'd give it a go) and also when I did 100 Taxi Missions in a row (I actually did it twice...)
Hope to see some more posts on this.

Fez, thats insane, litterally insane.
Personal achievements would include my first Helo flight (was easier than what I had heard), getting all sorts of hidden packages, first real stunts (that werent accidents) and the first time i spend over 2 hours running away from the cops (and the fbi, and the army and...)

btw, everything after that 4000 degree has been crap, the high after that was 1500 probably. the big one i wasnt even tring to spin, i just wanted to jump over some building, so i revved up, and right before i het the ramp, a car nipped me, and the front tire hit the railing. It looked crazy
some movies have spins lime that, check em out
the other best moment would be (other that getting 100%) was FINALLY beating The Driver after shoving Hilary into a pay and spray. apparantly, he cant shifr his car into reverse

Well that would make things easier. I remember The countless times it took me to finnish that mission. Now I can usually do it on the first or second try, assuming the idiot doesnt drive off a cliff

My memorable achievement was also beating 'The Driver'. That was in my opinion the most frusterating mission in the game.

Well, I would say beating the last mission with Sonny and Lance heel turn. It wasn't particularly hard, it's just that I never expected lance to turn on me. I was feeling great after that, when Tommy and the lawyer Rosenburg were talking about "it's all down south right now" and the sweet little calm music at the end. It was great, and after that you receive phone calls from a lot of people, like the drunk Kent Paul who tries to make himself important to Tommy and then start to cry, and tommy say: you should get some sleep seriously" I mean everyone did that mission, but beating it the very first time feels great.
My greatest achievement, was finally getting 100 taxi fares after putting it off for awhile. Haha.

I never found the Driver mission that hard. I guess I must have just haved an easy version or something...I usually hit him by accident or something like that. Oh well.

all the versions are the same thing, you cant have an easier version of vice, you must be either real lucky or extremely good at racing.

Driver was hard cause you had a crappy sentinel and he had a Sabre Turbo. for the sunshine auto things you at least could choose your car

I never liked the driver mission cuz he either A) beat me, B) drove his car into the water (as the road seemed to vaporize out of existence) or C) end up blowing up.
One of the most frustrating things about that mission was that, when he died, i had to actually re-load the game. Rreally weird.

my strategy is just do the mission dont sweat the small ish. just go on ahead.

My most memorable achievement in the game was probably a rampage I had that was covered in the news as an "international tragedy" or something like that. I just love chaos with my buddy the tank.
But damn the mission The Shooter is the hardest fuckin' mission man! I always never come CLOSE to 40 points in that mission, shit and I hear The Driver is even HARDER.

The Shooter is FUN. You just have to take your time and practice a bit. Best way is to take the Python, go into the streets or find yourself a good ledge and try to hit as many people in the head as possible while using the least ammo. Try to set yourself a goal time too

7 stars ?

08-08-2004, 09:53 PM
I was wondering the exact same thing. Last time I checked, there were only 6 stars to fill, and driving a PCJ without crashing through roadblocks is practically impossible, espescially past 3 stars, let alone this all-important (and somewhat elusive) 7!

whahaha... i'm so f*cking good in driving the pcj 600... i can even survive with 7 stars... No MTA player is good enough to let me fall down from my pcj:D:D:D.... but i don't have a unmodded game of vice city anymore

08-09-2004, 09:38 AM
you cant get 7 stars!

On another Note:
My most memorable moment was playing it for the first time.......ahhh the good old days before I began modding.......wait a min....those days sucked!!!! Modding made it better....I guess my true most memorable moments are installing my new mods and using them! Suzuki GSXR 1000!!!!Oh yeah!!!

Shooter: 2nd Try, one of the most fun missions in the game.
The Driver: 1st Try, the cops smashed him up all through the race and i won waaaaaaaay ahead of him.
My most memorable acheivment: Jumping from North Point Mall to Prawn Island in a Nissan Skyline... i wish i knew howto make stunt videos. That jump was HUUUUUUGE!!
saving lance because i kept accidently killing him and it ticked me off.
killing lance in the "last" mission. i never liked him from the beginning.
