What exactly is the " HUD MODE " in Vice city options screen??

I saw that thing "HUD MODE " in the options the other day, you can turn it ON or OFF , what exactly does it do ?? I think it's OFF by default. I don't understand it's purpose.

Uhh... The display of the weapons icon, time, all that stuff.

So it's just the display of the info on the top right of the screen OK

Hud displays the weapons and your health, armor etc. There are also other options to turn the map of aswell.

Personnaly, I find it would be hard to play that game without the radar and info , time, etc. Ok , perharps in Vice city I could do that, I played so much I know all the maps, order of missions, ect. But Liberty City would be hard for me, I wasn't hardcore enough at that one. Beat it only once compared to maybe 6-7 times in Vice . I don't see myself playing San Andreas without info and radar either.

Yea Vice City isnt really that hard. Same with San Andreas. but its a bitch in both trying to play without a wanted level or gun display since you wont know when you need to reload or low on ammo all that fun stuff. only if you need it i mean

i think it is fun though to play with HUD when i'm just having fun.

I personally liike to turn the hud off and Stunt its a lot of fun and the Hud is the heads up display. :D

i have the HUD, map and everything off, i dont have a real reason i just like it better.
