Is there a way to get a Black patriot?

I saw this on a screenshot but when I put on the black cars cheat the Patriot was the same colour that army green.. If there is a way please let me know.

Modify the color file (assuming its in a PC) to show a black patriot.

open the carcols.dat file in the data folder of vice city.
Find this line;
patriot, 43,0

If you want the green one to appear aswell as the black one change that line to;
patriot, 43,0, 0,0

If you just want the black one to appear, change it to;
patriot, 0,0

Gameshark it. I assume you mean Vice City, so - www.gameshark.com That's the only way, unless you have Yaroze. :p You don't even need a high versioned gameshark. The first release of GS2 should do the trick, it runs for about $30 now.

i´m not sure if this will work but, put the black cars cheat, and then get the patriot and go to pay´n´spary. Im not sure if that will work though...

What you do is you put in the black cars cheat, which will make all traffic black, then find the Patriot at the film studio or whatever and then save it in your garage and save. Restart your game and everything will be back to normal except you will have the black patriot. (Also works with all other cars, even the limousine). When you find the codes, it will usually tell you that once you put in the code, it will stay forever, but that's not true, I've tried it.

ya but when the cheat is on the Patriot stays green.

Go to the pay´n´ spry, it may change colors, but im not completely sure it will work

Well, I noticed on the patriots txd file that it comes out a greyish,brown color. I dont think it has a TRUE color. I think its just a skinned car. Just like the FBI Rancher. It doesnt change colors. But unlike the cop cars they can be changed
