how many of you have been on the love media building

this is like the second tallest building in the game and when your on top if you shoot from a sniper it takes like 1.5seconds for the person to get hit.... the only way to get up is using the tank with flying and perfect handling cheat.... so anyway has anyone been on it... and does anyone see any link to donald loves disapperance when you go up... btw its gta3

have you? because the roof is probly not there you could probly fly through the top of the building in fact most buildings in gta 3 dont have roofs and their only solid for maby 2-4 storys high so nobody has probly been up there

rite you know when you do a mission for love...he is in a garden on a tredmill and there is a pond....well that all exists.. its on the very top of the love media building and is fully solid...its very hard to land on because of the momentum the tank is carrying...if youve never been there it will provide a bit of intrest...also to prove that it exists: when you buy the game a map comes with it(mine did) of a plan of the gta3 city...find love media on it and if you look down on it you will see the green and the pond of the garden...that proves that it exists anyway just like if you look on the station there is a heli pad that you never would have otherwise seen...hope that helps.....

remember: get tank...go to airport and get on the runway pointing diagonally...enter perfect handling and flying car cheat...now turn the turret around...then start driving...once you take off take your foot off the gas and fire the rockets out of the turret...this will be the only way you can rise up...remember once you have left the ground do not excellerate....when approcing the building you will not see anything on it because the games draw distance isnt great...then ease off so that you are level for the landing...just as the wheels touch the ground break and turn hard....the love media building is yours...now getting down is the hard part as youll probably want to push the tank off and watch it fall for about 5 seconds....

I've heard of a building that has a sign on top that says "You shouldn't be up here". Never seen it myself though.

Why did Rockstar even make those stupid stuff. Also, when you get to some other secret place, it says "You weren't be able to get here you know". I don't know where it is, and I have never been there, but it looks weird.

that sign your talking about is behind the wall where you do the "kingdom come" mission.....remember if you want proof that it exists+you cant get to it...then look at the plan of liberty city and you will see the garden and pond....i am not lying...its 100% doable...you just gotta be patient...if no one can do it il take a pic of it off my tv when i get my new camcorder/digitalcam and il post it...but someone else should be able to do it b4 then... :peace:

...back to the topic...the tallest building in the game is the hopital in shorside vale...try get to that...but if i remember correctly its just a big freefall if you try land on it....

double posting is double posting, if you post twice in a row, there is absolutly no way of it not being double posting.

Most of the tall skyscrapers don't have a col file at the top, because your not supposed to go that high, thats why you can go through them. In vice city your not supposed to go higher than the helicopters let you, which you can even without cheats, with the skimmer. But you can't control the skimmer well enough to land on a high roof top any way.

I remember in GTA3, there was a place where you could go through a wall and there was a sign that said something like: You were not supposed to be able to get here. It's somewhere in the place where you do the mission with the Kamikaze guys full of explosives that run after you and say : Special Delivery hahaha ha ha ! I remember that and I felt it was really weird, I found that only once though. Unfortunately, there's nothing special in that place, just the sign that had me freakin' out man !

in something i read a while back it said "rockstar want you to be able to climb buildings and still know your location" i dont exactly know what they ment about the location bit but is this a hint that there will be ladders to climb up onto roofs or maybe getting up using poles and wires...

I hope you can climb, because if you get chased into a dead end, then you can climb over a fence and keep running, instead of getting crushed up agains the fence by charging police cars.

there should be a new jump system when in a lot of platform games when you jump you can grab onto a ledge and pull your self up...this would be welcome compared to the unrealistic way you jump in 3 and vice....

You can download a map mod for GTA3 that puts stairs going from the floor to the top of Donald Love's building. The stairs are somewhat wonky, and it does take a while to get up there. There is a solid floor to stand on, but everything there can be walked through.

i've been up there countless times and the same for kenji's rooftop. there are some solid spots but not many. just use a manual aim gun and shoot the ground to find them

Was there even a vertical limit in GTA 3? The only thing you could fly was the dodo, but I never got it to fly for more than four or five seconds. I know some people have posted saying that they actually were able to get it flying, so they would probably know. Anyway, if the vertical limit was higher than the top of that building, couldn't you just fly there(assuming you could control the dodo)?

Hey, how do you get up there on PS2 without cheats? Fly the dodo? Does it go high enough? I have flown the Dodo for only like 10-25 seconds, I don't exactly remember..

You can't get up there with the dodo, cause it has an altitude limit. You have to use the tank(on ps2). Now there aint to much up there, just the cut scene area, and there is no connection to donald loves dissaperance. The sign, that yall were talking about "You weren't supposed to be able to get here" It is just an easter egg pretty much. It is located in the parking lot, that one of the cars is in (in the mission grand theft auto) and the one where all the crazy suicide bombers try and kill you(I think its form a yardie mission).(it is located onthe end that donald loves building is on, it might be across the street form there. But the parkign lot is surrounded by buildings). You can also get there by flying the dodo in, or you could just walk across all the paths.

And for everyone that can't figure out how to fly the dodo, heres all you need to know. NEVER press the up button, NEVER while flying. If you think your about top hit the water or ground, don't worry it should catch itself, if not your just fucked.

I haven't seen OR heard of the lighthouse or the lovemedia. I HAVE heard of the stadium but what is special about it?

Theres nothing really special about the lighthouse. Its at the end of the beach in Vice City. I forget if its on the northern end or southern end, but its the beach on the first island. You can walk up in it with the spiral staircase and thats about it. There may be a hidden package up there too but I'm not sure.

Here's a pic of me on the Donald Love rooftop. It's pretty damn easy to get up there. Just get the GTA3 Admin Console, go to Locations, and warp to the Donald Love Rooftop. All the ground up there is solid, but nothing else.

finally the best way to get secret places(on pc) is to build roads 4 urselves and let them go to big buildings and stuff.... ne1 ever been up in the construction site building.... ya no it mite be solid considerin the last mission you are there..sum1 shoul make a stairs and walk up to it

GTA3 Admin Console? I presume that's similar to Lithjoe's GTA3 Trainer, except I assume here that if you use the warp whilst in a vehicle, the warp still works, and you take the vehicle with you. That's the only explanation as to how the Kuruma got up there that I can think of, but I would be interested in knowing if that's how you did it.

Just download GTA3 Admin Console, I tihnk it's on Codename GTA3, and the rooftop is one of the places you can warp too. Also, all of the warps that work with you in a car are marked accordingly.
