I had about 127secs, I kinda flew over the portland bridge jump (tht yellow/black stripy bit from staunton to portland direction) it went into slow mo style and with a fixed camera angle so I flew into a building as I couldnt see the dodo anymore lol
If it wasnt for that unique stunt I couldve done alot more as I think flying it is quite easy, just boring after a while

ok i hate the fuckin plane but i got it once today to 68 seconds this is how i did it go to the callahan bridge drive on the raod not the median(1) and hold the handbrake give it some gas push up(yes up) on your control hold for five seconds and let go of the hand brake still holdin the up button and gas and change to your side view and look at the front wheel see it going down dont let the plane's body touch the road. when it gets close to the ground let go of everthing execpt the throttle(gas) and your are in the sky. if you want to use the airport do this see link and to follow all steps after the 1:

when turning in the air turn you control to the left or right and short turn controls

Yea, Jus press acceletate and down untill the front is almost scraping the floor the let go and you go high into the air. Once you get high and start slowing down point the plane down slightly so you gain speed and then jus try and keep it level once you get the speed to maintain a speed to keep you level.

When turning jus tap the directional button and let the plane do most of the rest, then do the opposite to stabilise to a straight line


The best place To take off in my opinion is to take off from the bridge between portland and staunton (callahan bridge?) but heading towards staunton to aoid the unique stunt. This is jus 'cos the road is curved down so you gain more speed and a higher altitude when you take off asll as the middle part having no traffic on it. As the road continues to the edge of the islands you jus go straight and head for the airport over the billboards and you have plenty of room to fly

The trick is to lean forward untill you see sparks coming under the plane, then release all buttons (exept gas ;) ) and you'll be blown into the air. It's a pain in the ass to STAY in the air, because you're almost vertically at that point. Just tap forward a bit to level the plane.

i entered a comp in a ps2 mag one time where you had to video tape your flight...i gave up after 2 hours off rounding the city (no pauses) ....the next month a guy from finland with obviously too much time on his hands video'd the end off his flight....when he landed it said sumthin like you have flown for 1296000seconds which (dont hold me to this) was 36hours...like he must have had the console on no stop for 3 or 4 days....amazin

There was a guy who had a flight record of 3 days or something, and we are trying to find his website, to see proof of the immense flight record.
If it is true, then our boasting about 30 minutes of flight time is pitiful (whilst still an achievement, it is dwarfed by 36 hours).

I just got an email back from him, and am looking at the photos now. I may post them on here pretty soon, if he says it is sweet.
