we are currently uploading the content but once that is done we will be looking for some staff we might need some of the following:

so if you would like to apply post in the forums at the site or email me at
matt@gta-shack.com
I really don't see why GTA-Shack and it's hosted sites are so obsessed with that worthless PHP Nuke crap.
If you want to make a website, do it yourself, don't take someone else's program and try to make your site look different to the ooodles of sites already out there using that theme.

PHP Nuke crap
I now understand you. PHP Nuke is crap. Its the buggiest thing in the world, it is full of security holes. I mean yeah well done to the people who made it and developed it, but it needs everything fixed before they try to add stuff. I am scrapping the old php-nuke version of GTA Islands and am making a brand spanking new one (that I actually made)

No, the best web-site making tool is "crimson editor", just a text editor like notepad but if your making php files it color codes everything so you can tell if you make a parse mistake.
NO!Dreamweaver is the best.It helps me a lot when editting stuff and adding forum hacks.

notepad will do to get you started, then just get a decent text editor.

true masters tool
to be truthful, i use editplus because of its multi-tabbed interface.
dreamweaver isnt all that good because it takes a long time to load (compared to everything else) and it doesnt create good, valid layouts.
phpnuke DOES SUCK.
it was responsible for the hacker group that got in january 29 of this year.

Amen.
"Notepad" isn't the best IMO, I prefer crimson editor, its basically the same but it supports multiple files open at the same time, and it recognises different file types, like it will color code html and php differently etc, which is good because you miss off one ";" and it can mess alot up.

I use arachnophilia. It sounds alot like crimson editor, it has a few features such as color coding, and beatify your html, and can automatically search for un closed tags. Just a simple text editor pretty much. Oh it also has a preview button fot html files.

there are "real" php editors that actually make sure your includes and stuff work, but for now i use editplus. it loads really quickly (faster than notepad), is customizable, and it has the color-coding too.
1. Notepad is the best.
2. GTA SHACK= PHP Nuke Network
3. If you dont know html you shouldnt be owning/designing websites. Simple as that in my opinion.

1. Not nesasarily, there are alot better text editors out there that can open more than one file in tabs which looks better than having hundreds of windows open.
2. I have to agree with that, most of the hosted sites use php nuke including my self, but that is soon to be changed as I am writing my own site from scratch.
3. Amen. HTML is the raw basics of making websites you absolutly need to know it, or use a program that does the html for you and you just need to design it, like M$ frontpage. Also PHP is now a popular scripting language and is pretty easy to get the hang of so I would recommend any one who is making a site from scratch to use php and make use of an sql database.

1. notepad is best if you have a supercomputer for a brain. otherwise its editplus for me. :) yes, multiple files in one program. i usually load around 150 for universal replacements, etc. notepad cant do that.
2. too bad.
3. html. maybe. css. revolution.
