This (http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/11/05/texas.fort.hood. shootings/index.html) has me sick to my stomach. I'm not a military man, and I sometimes have a problems with some of the things the US military does, but I know a heinous act when I see/hear it. Nobody deserves this kind of thing and I hope this guy rots in Leavenworth for the rest of his life. :/

Discuss.

The Muslim community is going to get a lot of shit from now on.

And don't say i'm a hypocrite for suggesting this. It's human nature. Want me to explain more, make my day.

Well it's a bit early to say this was a religion based act, but I know where you're coming from.

Oh the Muslim community has been doing a lot of things lately that it's getting shit for (that father that ran over his daughter for being "too western", or the guy who killed his wife for some other reason.) Strange for a religion that is supposed to stress peace and understanding. :/

I'd rather not this become a religious debate, just wanted to know how people are reacting to this.

The Muslims need to sort themselves out and start helping us getting rid of all the extremists in their religion. Maybe then I'd respect what they are trying to teach, until then they might as well all be the same.

Is this honestly a CS-material topic? :/

The act of one does not represent the act of many. Every religion has their extremists.

Well the thread there has some educated opinions and it's quite a waste to have the same discussion in two different threads.

UNLESS WE MERGE THE THREADS OR MOVE THEM OR DO SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES.

LIKE, WHO WOULD DO THAT?
