So i've just finished the game, yeah i know fast seeing as it only came out today but oh well. It was a good game, story was a bit odd but what ya gonna do, i guess it tied up some loose ends
Now for the main part of my post... The end credits, so i watched to see if there was any 'hints' and the only thing that stood out to me is Packie going into the airport with a bag, i don't ever remember if he mentioned he was going anywhere but he is now, and the last part of the credits just as it says the end is a plane flying off into the sunset... Is this is for Liberty City and how would you feel about Packie being the next protagonist ?
I think we can take a break from Liberty for a while. I personally would love to have Packie as the protagonist. The story ingeneral would be pretty colorful.

^What he said. Theres no way they could do another Liberty City already. It'd be stupid to.

He talks about going to Ireland while being drunk with Niko.
Its the last thing we really see in L.C. storyline so i'm guessing there is some importance to it. but probably another trick.
Metallica, Tool and GTA all make me wait too long. i'm gonna be too old by the next time any of the release anything new :(

An Irish/English thug as the next patrgonist would be pretty cool.
No one does violence and riots like the Brits... just watch any Guy Richie film.

Heh, it'd be funny if the next main character is a soccer hooligan. Id love them to do a balls to the wall modern day GTA London, espc since that Getaway has been cancelled.

i think it was just symbolic the plane was to show that its time to leave liberty and since pakie talks about ireland and says he wants to go there might as well make it him going on the plane.

How can Niko get car bombs now????
Thats what I thought when I seen that. I hope they go back to Vice City. I liked Packie, I wouldn't mind playing him in the next one.
Did you noticed that they showed everyones gay side. Me B didn't look right dancing. And I knew Brucie was gay. And I started wondering about Roman... If he is gay.
As for being it, On GTAGaming home page. They had that half hour show. And they said that this was it for LC.

During the game the focus shifts from LC being the place to be to being the place everyone hates. They all start saying VC is the place to be...
GTA5 will be in a revamped VC.

I think it'd be badass to play as packie or atleast an irish or scottish dude. I always thought it'd be sweet to do something more with the mcrearys. They should do a game kinda like the movies the departed and snatch. u could play some scottish dude who is a bare knuckle brawler lol
There has always been talk of Carcer City in the series as well. Maybe a Departed type of storyline there would be interesting. Vice City or San Andreas make more sense, but the Housers never really mentioned anything about re-doing them. They only stated their interest in re-vamping Liberty City. So where does that leave us? Anyplace could be the next stop for GTA. It would be nice to see some crossover characters that survived in the GTA III universe. Kent Paul or someone like that would be nice bit of fan service. I know, we should be happy with Lazlow and fernando's return, but we can always hope for more right?

I've always thought that the next GTA was going to be a Vice City revamp. There's so much love for Vice that it would be a great idea to do so. But, it seems to me the next GTA would be current, I don't have the feeling that there willing to go back in time for more games again. So, would Vice City of 2010 be a popular enough spot for a game? or would it be a run down place?
Also the idea of packie being the player character in any game just makes my cup overflow, He was my favorite character in GTAIV.
