The article makes an interesting point about country and blues being in it, but I think rap is just pushing it.

How so, rap is just a different derivation from the blues, as is rock.
Either way, Run-D.M.C. and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five have both been inducted, so I don't see why this is such a hot-topic at all.

as long as they're not putting lil wayne in there i dont see the problem
specially if the forefathers of rap (Run-D.M.C., Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five as victim said) are already in there
