this is crazy, seeing pictures from that time in color.. it gave me a weird feeling looking at all those soldiers eyes..
Yeah, I understand what you mean about the colours. Seeing black and white pictures always gives it 'age' but seeing these in colour makes it seem as though it happened just yesterday.

Yeah, kinda puts things in perspective a bit for me. Whenever I see a grainy B&W photo, I assume it happened ages ago, but 60 years isn't really that long in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures. They are invaluable in the way they make people realise that Nazism isn't a far-away incarnation of pure evil, but something that was produced and supported by men like themselves. We need these pictures to humanise Nazism. I have a feeling Nazism is increasingly considered something purely and objectively evil, and I think this can be a very dangerous evolution.

These are amazing pictures, thank you so much for posting them.
It reminds me of the time I watched 'Triumph of the Will' at school, everything about it is absolutely amazing, in a historic and artistic sense.
The suits are pretty grim, I love them too.

Wow Idk the color really makes them seem more human, you know real in a sense. Not just a historical event.
You guys should try reading All Quiet on the Western Front. Some of these soldiers weren't as evil as you thought they were.

Wow nazis were fucking awesome. i mean obviously what they fought for was entirely wrong. but they were just badass plain and simple. they had style. that was probably the reason many ppl joined the nazis ;p i'd love to get a chance to fucking wear one of those suits and goose step around towns all day

I wonder how many soldiers didn't agree with what they were doing, but fearfully went along with it anyway. It's strange seeing so many friendly looking faces.
