I get PCGamer mag, and I just read about the new Geforce 6800, Nvidias answer to the Radeon 9800-get this:
It needs 2!! of those white power plugs right from your power supply like goes to cd-rom,hard drive etc..
And they recommend a 480watt power supply-jeez, man, you believe this?
Another article was talking about Far Cry and its amazing graphics but how you need a super-rig to run it in hi-detail.
I just recently got the Geforce FX5900 128mb- replacing a GF TI4200 128mb. What card do you have and hows its performance?
I have a Radeon 64meg in my laptop and I think I like Radeons better-:wink2:

I have a Radeon 9600 128mb card, Its not the best of the best, but I love it :D

I upgraded from my old 32mb TNT2 card. And obviously there was a HUGE difference. My old card ran the vice city at 640x480x16 my new card runs it at that 12xx one at 32 bit colors (I cant remember what the resolution it is, but its as high as the game goes.) It has anti aliasing on and the frame rate is still really fast :D

I got geforce fx 5200 128mb...it kicks ass!!! my comp games dont slow down ,get weird or lagg and the graphics are better than anything that i seen...its perfect...but its not only the graphic card that counts...you need to have a good procesor and motherboard and a fast read cd-rom drive....I just bought ,builded my new comp and its so fast...if you want to buy a video card wait some 2 months..becouse of the geforce fx6800 the other lower onces will go down in price...

Yes, I posted about the 6800-no price yet Ive seen, but it takles a hella system to power just that card.
