That and the many pop-up ads on here. Good thing I keep on my trusty pop-up stopper.

The only popups I've ever encountered on edge, was one every few times I go on edgefiles. I don't think there are even any set on the site/forums.

I don't think there are pop ups on this site. I think you might have adware or spyware on your pc. Get a scanner (ad-aware is free) and scan your pc.

Again,- I HAVE a pop-up stopper, -and the smiley finger is towards the pop-ups AND is one of your sites selections of smileys when you post a thread or reply.
People are not even reading the text of my post, and furthermore are flaming me for the smiley face which you offer as one of your smileys selections- this isnt about smileys, and again...I HAVE A POP-UP STOPPER:finger:
and toolbars ARE spyware-
If Darkon x with his 500+ posts has never noticed the finger smiley offering I do apoligize if I offended his fragile sensibilities-he must have thought all smileys are directed at him personally when he saw it, and by ignoring the actual point of my post in lieu of concentrating solely on the finger smiley, become offended and reported it to admin.
My "i dunno" post was a sarcastic joke, and about as much wasted spam space as his "dude whats up with the finger?" considering he should know "whats up" with the smiley finger-if people would address the issue I posted and not concentrate on the smileys there would probably be no hurt feelings.
I would ask here now , what other smileys do you all find so offensive and take so personally that you dont want me to use them?:angel:
Please let this post die as I tire of bickering over the missed point of my post and wont use the finger smiley anymore, ok?-sheesh, kill a guy for posting anything in this section "comments box"

nobody's feelings were hurt...your just being a moron. nobody else except you get's alot of popups. and the forum itself does not control that exact "shoot the *fillintheblank* and win an i-pod." it just comes up like that. so get over it. and if you are getting popups like crazy....then your pop up blocker is a horrible abomination. you are 99% likely to be infected with ad/spyware. so go download adaware, and stop with this. and just because the finger smiley is there doesn't mean you have to be immature and use it in every post you make.

Faggot is the single worst insult I've ever heard. It's so overused.
And anyway, we're not responsible for the adverts that appear here, we're sponsored by UGO.com and they choose which ones to display. Quite frankly, it doesn't matter if it's "tacky" because at the end of the day it's bringing in the income that keeps this site alive. And as for the popups, anyone who's not using something like Google Toolbar or a browser with integrated pop up stopping like Mozilla Firebird can only expect ads on sites. Not that I condone them, of course, we want you to see the ads! :angel:
