So, who is getting it?
I enjoyed the demo but thought it was only worth a rental, but I keep going back to it and eventually put it onto expert difficulty.
So much better, the bot uses more moves than just punch, he will try and pin you down and stuff, epic.
Cannot wait for the 22.

Yes, I will be getting the game soon, I'm not sure if I want it for release, or for my birthday.

I was looking forward to it, but the gameplay gets really boring after a while. Plus fights are over waaay too fast. It was awesome the first few plays from the demo, just got really stale after more though.

I played the demo before.
I normally get three fights in 5 minutes before i finish.
Its pretty fun, but gets boring after playing the same character the whole time.
Since my xbox got the RROD, i wont be getting it. :(

The demo, to me, was awesome.
If you did a powerful attack, such as Superman punch, or the spinning one, at the right time, you could knock the other person out, without doing any previous damage.

Bell rang, i ran up to him, superman punch, bam knockout.
I felt so proud. :)

Knockouts are pretty much random, especially when you're playing on easy. Expert is dificult.
I'll get picking this up after my exams are over.

IRL it's the other way around as Shogun put lidell into retirement

Shogun seems like a nobody when it comes to the demo.
Chuck dominates him whenever i play. :P

I just liked him (Rua) since Pride FC days in Japan.
I really don't like playing as Chuck as all he has in this game is the Superman punch where as Rua has the Flying knee and the Muay Thai clinch and BJJ on the ground which is a win combo.
I'll personally be playing as Machida or Rampage online.

So I got the game a few days ago, created a character and have still to figure out how to teach him the superman punch or any other LB attack. :/
Or is it not possible?

It depends what type of fighter your guy has. I don't know what style you have to choose to get the superman punch. I think its boxing, I could be wrong though. Search GameFAQs on UFC 2009, it should tell you there.

Ah, I just assumed it was kickboxing as I think that's Chuck Lidel's style and he uses it.

I would think it would be boxing as it is really powerful punch. I think kickboxings equivilant to that is the spinning kick.
It's kickboxing, you have to level up to Kickboxing lvl2or3 through the camps
if you need to know anything just ask I've pretty much mastered the game :P

It sometimes is really annoying though because you could be owning your opponent with head kicks and then he lands a lucky punch and then KO. You hit canvas at about 300mph. It just doesn't make sense. If you are blocking all his punches and kicks and he is blocking none of yours and you floor him like 3 or 4 times. After a while its pretty obvious you would win but not in this game. Its weird.

i agree with DY. its not WWE your playing, these guys are virtually actually hitting each other, instead of virtually faking it lol
