hmmm they didn't show us much but it looked cool
looked like some navy seal action with the diver dudes so that could be cool
graphics look pretty amazing but they could be renders
Are they just gonna call it "Modern Warfare" from now on and exclude the "Call of Duty" part?

For this release, yes, it's just called Modern Warfare 2. It appears Activision have got bored of following numbers now! :P
I wonder if it continues the previous game's story. I want to know what happened to Captain Moustache Face. :(

It seems that Treyarch is taking over the CoD franchise and Infinity Ward is gonna work on Modern Warfare game(s)

I was wondering about that. I just hope they make it where the story lasts longer than 30 mins.
I'm psyched, I always liked CoD4 more than WaW.

Hoping that this game will have a much longer single-player experience.
I wouldn't mind being as satisfied as I was with the first one, but I want it to last longer. (Lol, that's what she said).
Anyway, I'll probably buy the game either off-the-bat or sometime when the price goes down. No doubt I'm buying.
This game is still called Call Of Duty : Modern Warefare 2, Activision didn't drop the COD from the title a rep confirmed it last week.

Nice info Fry.. I think they changed up the engine system now a bit.. As you look at the civilian soldiers jump it look like the physics are different from the last CoDs.

Looks excellent. They can do much with these Modern Warfare games because they don't follow the history like the WWII games.

Looking forward to this release. WaW was good, but not great, this should live up to that expectation.

Infinite ward is making this one so at least online will actually work. I will be reunited with my gav gun once more, the famous AK-47.
thats a pretty big call considering the problems COD:MW had and it took IW ages to fix them (3 months), whereas WaW worked great from the get go. but admittidly they did use the established netcode from COD:MW with a few tweaks.

WaW was cool but not worth 60$. Im trying to get back my Cod4 so I can play like I use to.
Pointless but I really hope camo returns, I know it was something superficial but it made my gun my 'own', you know?

I hope they have even more colors tbh. I didn't really like desert or woodland camo. Digital was cool but often looked silly on certain guns, and red tiger looks kinda lame I think. I really enjoy blue tiger though :P

If you had the grass sniper suit on, and you played Pipeline, and layed down on the big hill, you blended in pretty good.
In COD4,
