New video game apparently coming in Spring '09.
Not much info about the game, only:

The game was previously known as 'Alive'.

The game will be set in first person. Though, there is a possibility for third person gameplay elements. (To be confirmed)

The game is set in June 2009 and will take place in Chicago (whether partly or fully is unknown), where a 10.3 magnitude earthquake took place.

You play as a 27-year-old Adam Collins, an usual office worker.

After the earthquake you'll find yourself trapped in a high building. For 3 days on you will fight your way out in the open.

After the escape from the building, you'll discover that you're being trapped again. Comes out, during the earthquake Chicago was detached from the main ground and is now a lone Chicago-island swimming in the ocean.

The game revolves around finding your ex-girlfriend Alice, who may, or may not, be alive. Because you still love her.

Your second main goal would be to get off the island. The rescue operation failed (or didn't come at all(To be confirmed)), so you're on your own.

This game looks pretty goddamn good, if you ask me.
First person might bother me some, really hope there is an option to change it to third.
Just thought i would share it with you all. :)

I remember a thread about this game a while ago.

Anyway, you can't really judge the game on a CG trailer. We will probably get more info at E3.

I really hope they pull out a gameplay trailer, at least.

Yeah, I'd like for a new trailer, I've been checking on a daily basis for this game...

The thing that bothers me about this is that it seems to be going for the Fallout 3ish feel, where you're alone in a ruined city and people are dangerous and you have to fight to survive. But the thing is, it's ONLY Chicago in this game that is destroyed. In real tragedies, people don't form groups and fight for survival. They work together and make their way out of the town. Helicopters would be everywhere rescuing people, etc. It just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, but look at the trailer, those guy's are seriously messed up, and attracted to water. Something is going to make up for the current absence of storyline.

Remember seeing this awhile ago, looks cool from that trailer, but yeah it's only CG. Would love more information on it.

A earthquake powerful enough to split the landmass into a small island must be pretty fucking insane. But looking at the CG trailer it looks like the sun exploded.

If you had something like this in real life, i bet you'd see Military Helicopters and tons of aid going around.

Exactly. These people wouldn't be alone long enough to go insane and start tribes and try killing everyone. This games plot is a little too far-fetched.

Read the bold and maybe it will seem less far-fetched.

The plot focuses on Adam's life during the aftermath of a 10.3 magnitude earthquake, which shatters his life as a citizen, while the rest of the world is under a water crisis. The rescue team fails to arrive, Adam gets caught in chaos that gets worse by the hour. Adam sets up a refugee camp in the ruins of Chicago to attract the government's attention. The player will need to find resources and organize survivors. In the midst of Chicago’s ruins, the player will have to survive seven days.

Ah, didn't read the article.

Well in that case it makes a bit more sense. I just hope they can squeeze enough gameplay into that supposed 7 days.

I believe it's nine days, sir.
The game takes place over 9 days. That means no free-roam after the ending credits. Also the game will open and lock certain areas during your progress through the game.

EDIT: Yeah, i read it again. The game takes place in seven, but i guess nine total, two in cutscene's?

Still, seven days in Chicago, it's not like they'll run out of supplies.
