View Full Version : Looking for Official Servers

The VCO development team is currently looking for official servers, but unfortunately there are hardly any servers available to choose from. We are currently looking for any server which meets these requirements:
- Demonstrates good usage of VCO functions.
- Is hosted on a dedicated server (or if the server has relatively minimum down time).
- We do not care if it's a linux or a windows server, of course.
- Must be fun and must be able to keep players interested.
Hopefully this incentive will make players want to learn to script. If your server meets the above requirements, leave a post here and we'll evaluate it.
Sincerely,
VCO Developer ReGeX

Well, ReGeX said it has to be on dedicated server, which costs quite a lot of money. :/

I will make an exception depending on the server's down time per day.
Is that server
IP: 85.17.139.227
Port: 4800
hosted 24/7?

Well.
It can be a long time, Because Mex and I (and Knucis) can't get it working (Mex made VLE, so he helps)...
It is something with Linux, I got the paths working... But the other functions are ****ed...
So it wont add any classes, that means U can do nothing on the server... :(
We hope this will be fixed asap...

Thijn

Hey, i just found out about VCO today actually, and im getting really excited about this whole official server thing. Im coming from SAMP ive been scripting it for around 2 years, and theres almost no chance to make a offical server there anymore.
I have a dedicated server in the US which is never down, its on a 1GBPS Uplink port with enough everything.
Ive never used the langauge that VCO servers are scripted in, but im looking into it right now, ive had prior experience with C languages, game engine scripting and pawno, so hopefully it wont take long :)
Will you be keeping the official application section open here long? Becuase i would want to script a large DM / RP mode for VCO and get it on that list :D

Hi, I would like to have my server on the official list. It consists of lots of mini modes (well only one atm, I need to work out some voting and loading system), anyway the current mode i think shows some good vc-o features and there is nothing like it on any server :P
91.121.3.222:4800 if you want to check it out (it is dedicated)
